All deliveries and services of hintertuxparkopening.com through the online shop shall be dealt with exclusively on the basis of the general terms and conditions at the time of the particular order. hintertuxparkopening.com acknowledges conflicting conditions only if we have expressly acknowledged them in writing.

Cancellations made 5 days or more in advance of the event date, will receive a 100% refund. Cancellations made within 2 - 5 days will incur a 50% fee. 

To exercise the right of cancellation, you must inform us (support@hintertuxparkopening.com) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement (e-mail). You may use the page Orders and Returns on cancellation, but it is not obligatory.

To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of revocation before the cancellation period has expired.

PAYMENT OPTIONS

You can choose from different payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, Maestro and American Express. We reserve the right to reject certain payment methods. If you choose to pay in advance, you will receive our bank information together with the order confirmation. The money transfer is to be made to the indicated account within 7 days.

Hintertux Park Opening 2025 RELEASE OF LIABILITY,VOLUNTARY ASSUMPTION OF THE RISK AND WAIVER OF CLAIM AGREEMENT

This RELEASE OF LIABILITY, VOLUNTARY ASSUMPTION OF THE RISK AND WAIVER
OF CLAIM AGREEMENT (“Agreement”), is entered into by and between

Participant and Hintertux Park Opening. As used in this Agreement, the term Participant shall include the parent or legal guardian where the Participant is under the age of eighteen (18).

WHEREAS, Participant has voluntarily agreed to enter in the Hintertux Park Opening being held at Hintertux Glacier

WHEREAS, Participant, recognizing that participation in any of the scheduled events is a HAZARDOUS ACTIVITY which is inherently dangerous, has voluntarily entered on or more of the scheduled events despite all known and unknown risk of serious personal injury and/or death presented by practicing for and actually participation in the various events; and

WHEREAS, Participant understands that this Agreement is a general release barring Participant from bringing any claim for personal injury and/or death which is in any way related to practicing for or participation in any of the scheduled events; and

WHEREAS, Participant knows his/her own capabilities and limitations regarding each of the events entered; and

NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of being permitted to participate in one or more of the scheduled events, Participant expressly and freely agrees as follows:

1. TO ASSUME ALL RISK of serious personal injury and/or death arising from practicing for and/or participating in the various scheduled events.

2. To inspect the course prior to practicing for or participating in any of the events.

3. To WAIVE any and all claims that Participant may in the future have against Hintertux Opening, their officers, agents, employees, directors, shareholders, affiliated entities, subsidiaries and all insurers, for any and all loss, damage, injury or expense that Participant may suffer, or that Participant’s next of kin may suffer, as a result of Participant’s practicing for or participation in any of the scheduled events, due to any cause whatsoever, including but not limited to negligence on the part of Hintertux Opening, their officers, agents, employees, directors, shareholders, affiliated entities, sponsors, subsidiaries, and entity or person hired to perform any function with respect to the Hintertux Park Opening, and all volunteers.

4. To RELEASE FROM LIABILITY AND HOLD HARMLESS
Hintertux Park Opening, their officers, agents, employees, directors, shareholders, affiliated entities, sponsors, subsidiaries and insurers, from any and all loss, damage, injury or expense that Participant may suffer, or that Participant’s next of kin may suffer, as a result of Participant’s practicing for or participating in any of the scheduled events, due to any cause whatsoever, including but not limited to negligence on the part of ., their officers, agents, employees, directors, shareholders, affiliated entities, sponsors, subsidiaries, any entity or person hired to perform any function with respect to the Hintertux Park Opening, and all volunteers.

5. That this Agreement shall be interpreted in accordance with the Austrian laws.

That any dispute regarding the enforceability of this Agreement shall be filed in the courts of Austria, and shall not be transferred to any other Country.
I hereby freely agree to allow the Hintertux Opening and its sponsors the right to use, in perpetuity, any and all likenesses or images of me taken during my participation in any and all future Hintertux Park Opening event collateral and promotional materials.
I, the undersigned Participant having read and understood the terms of this Agreement, sign this Agreement freely and of my own accord, realizing that it is binding upon me, my Heirs, assigns and next of kin.

DISCLAIMER KIDS SHRED

Participation in the Kids Shred event is at your own risk; parents are liable for their children. Every participant is aware that this involves sports which carry risks to life and health. The organizers expressly point out that using features such as rails, boxes, and kickers is dangerous and requires mastery of the sport. It is practically impossible to safeguard these features with padding or similar measures.

Any liability on the part of the organizers is excluded, except in cases of intentional or grossly negligent conduct by the organizer or their agents. Liability for the actions of auxiliary persons and other participants is, to the extent legally permissible, entirely excluded. Furthermore, it is the sole responsibility of the parents of each participant to ensure adequate insurance coverage, particularly private liability and accident insurance.

The organizer accepts no liability for accidents related to participation in Kids Shred.

I hereby agree that my son/daughter may participate in the Kids Shred event from October 4th to 5th, 2025, at the Hintertux Glacier.

Please note that photos and/or videos may be taken at the event locations and may be published for the purpose of documenting the event. The legal basis for this is Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR (legitimate interest) of Zillertaler Gletscherbahn GmbH & Co KG.
